- Measures used to determine AYP: Reading, Math, Attendance Rate, Graduation Rate

- Federal standards are different than state standards
FitnessGram®
- FITNESSGRAM® tests are taken by students annually in grades 3-12
The FITNESSGRAM® tool was created by The Cooper Institute of Dallas
The six types of assessment measure five areas - body composition, aerobic capacity, muscular strength, endurance and flexibility. The assessments determine whether students are in a “healthy fitness zone” for their age and gender
The 2007-2008 school year was the first time students were assessed statewide using the FITNESSGRAM®

Graduates Enrolled in Public Higher Ed
- Report produced by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in coordination with the Texas Education Agency
Includes only students enrolled in the Fall term in Texas higher education institutions
Highly Qualified Teacher Reports
- The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 states that any teacher hired after the first day of the 2002-2003 school year to teach in a Title I, Part A program must be "highly qualified"
- All local educational agencies (LEAs) must have a plan to ensure that all teachers in the LEA teaching in core academic subjects are "highly qualified"
