NEW Out of District Transfer Student

The deadline for your Out of District Transfer Student Application submission, to include required documentation, is June 30, 2017 (no exceptions). 

If you wish to pre-register an Out of District transfer student who has:  

  • Never attended a LHISD school or,
  • Attended a LHISD school, but was not enrolled during the last week of the 2016-2017 school year,  

you will need to complete the proceeding steps to request to transfer your student into our district for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.  Please note that this online submission does not constitute your student's acceptance into our district.

STEP 1:
Please click on the button below to complete an Out of District Transfer Application for each student that you wish to enroll.  If you have any questions on completing the application, please click on the Questions button below:

You will be required to upload the following documentation at the time of your application.  If you are unable to upload these documents, you may bring them to the LHISD Administration office, located at 301 Forrest Street, Liberty Hill, TX 78642:

  • Current school information (school name, phone number, principal contact information)
  • Most recent report card or transcript
  • Official documentation of satisfactory attendance and discipline
  • Special programs paperwork or official documentation from current school (if applicable)

Please remember that the deadline for your Out of District Transfer Student Application submission, to include required documentation, is June 30, 2017 (no exceptions). 

Please DO NOT PROCEED to step 2 if you did not meet the June 30th deadline noted above.  Any and all submitted online Registration Gateway applications will be denied.

STEP 2:

STEP 3:
Parents or guardians of new out of district transfer students are required to present the following documentation:
 

  • Complete Immunization Record signed by a licensed physician
  • Student's Social Security card
  • Student's original Birth Certificate (NO PHOTOCOPIES ALLOWED)
  • Valid Photo Identification of parent / guardian(s)
  • Pre-K Only:  Please click here to obtain program qualification and documentation requirements) (if applicable)
  • Custody papers (if applicable)
  • Pertinent Medical paperwork (if applicable) 


STEP 4:
 
Parents or guardians of new out of district students must bring the documentation gathered in Step 3, along with any other pertinent documents to the New Student Registration event:

Note: 
Applications for out of district transfer students shall be considered on an annual basis.  Submitting this online application does not imply or guarantee that the student's out of district transfer will be approved.
