    Attention LHISD Family:

After collaborating with Williamson County officials, LHISD feels it’s in the best interest and safety of students and staff to close schools, Monday, Jan. 11th. Based on the National Weather Service forecast, the snow and rain mix has stopped but freezing temperatures overnight will make the roads hazardous in the morning until after 10:00 am. We do not want to have our busses, staff, or families on the roads with unsafe conditions even with a late start.
Williamson County also expressed the desire for school districts to close to help emergency workers and hospitals in these winter weather conditions and keep as many people off the roads as possible.
We appreciate your support as we keep the safety of our Panther family the number one concern. Please continue to check our district website, mobile app and your emails for any further updates.

    Stay safe and stay warm!
