LHISD selected Brent Neal as the new Assistant Principal at Liberty Hill High School
Liberty Hill Independent School District congratulates Brent Neal who will join the Liberty Hill High School this summer as the new assistant principal.
With 17 years of experience in education, Neal has served in a variety of roles. He has taught math and coached all over Texas at both the junior high and high school levels. He coached a variety of sports and served as a football defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator, as well as, teaching secondary math, from 7th grade all the way up to Algebra 2. Neal served as the math department chair at Tivy High School in Kerrville prior to making the move to administration. He is currently completing his first year as an assistant principal at Brazoswood High School in Lake Jackson.
Neal graduated from Angelo State University in 2000 with a degree in kinesiology and mathematics. He earned his master’s degree in professional leadership from the University of North Texas in 2017.
Neal and his wife, Stephanie, have 3 school aged children who will be joining our school district this upcoming academic year. Their daughter Chani will be a sophomore, Quinn will be in 8th grade, and their youngest child Reece will be in 5th grade. Neal’s wife is an RN and will be working at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Lakeway. “We can't wait to make the move to Liberty Hill and are excited to join in the many wonderful traditions the schools and community have to offer,” Neal states. “I’m looking forward to returning to a smaller school setting,” and, “I’m happy to have the opportunity to return to the beautiful Texas Hill Country and the wonderful folks that call it home.”
