Title IX Overview

Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities. Liberty Hill ISD is committed to providing an educational environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation for all students, staff, and visitors.

What Constitutes Sexual Harassment?

Sexual harassment under Title IX includes unwelcome conduct that is severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive, creating a hostile environment. It can also include quid pro quo harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

Reporting a Title IX Concern

All students, staff, and members of the community are encouraged to report any incidents of sexual harassment or discrimination to the Title IX Coordinator. Reports can be made in person, by phone, or via email, and can remain confidential. Liberty Hill ISD is dedicated to promptly addressing all Title IX concerns to ensure a safe learning environment.

Title IX Coordinator

Reports of discrimination based on sex, including sexual harassment, may be directed to the Title IX coordinator. The District designates the following person to coordinate its efforts to comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended:
