Get Involved in LHISD

Liberty Hill ISD is more than a school district — we’re a community built on strong partnerships between families, staff, and local supporters. Whether you're a parent, business owner, community member, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, there are many meaningful ways to get involved.

From volunteering in our schools and mentoring young readers to serving on advisory committees that help shape the future of our district, your time and voice matter. Explore the opportunities below to learn how you can support our students, strengthen our schools, and help us continue #BuildingChampions.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers must pass a criminal history background check in order to ensure the safety of our students. Liberty Hill Independent School District is authorized by state law to obtain criminal history record information on individuals who intend to serve as volunteers for the district (Texas Education Code 22.083). Your personal information, as well as your criminal history record results, are strictly confidential. The background check is conducted through the Liberty Hill Independent School District Administration Office.

Note: Volunteer applications have to be submitted each school year. The application for the upcoming school year opens July 1st. For questions, please email the LHISD Human Resources team directly.

  • A few years ago, the church community asked city leaders what we could do to make a lasting impact in our city. The answer was simple: help them fight illiteracy and school dropout rates. Consider investing just 30 minutes a week in a school near you, and bless the life of a child.
