The Calendar Committee has met and received feedback from several groups as part of the 2024-25 academic calendar development process. They would now like to invite you to provide feedback on the features of our academic calendar for the 2024-25 school year. As the calendar is created, the following will be taken into account:

• 187 Staff Days

• Meet the required 75,600 instructional minutes for students

• Full week off for Thanksgiving

• Two-week Winter Break

• Align LHISD Spring Break with Austin Community College

• End the school year before June

We are also exploring the option of adjusting our start date to create greater flexibility within the calendar to embed additional days off throughout the year for our families and staff members. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts with us!
