Career and Technical Education provides a variety of opportunities for students to secure their future with well-paying, in-demand jobs. Help us build champions and prepare our students for a successful future in the workforce or post-secondary education!
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Committees are composed of business and industry partners, post-secondary representatives, community members, and school faculty who are involved in decisions related to the implementation, improvement, and evaluation of CTE programs. These committees advise on the design, development operation, evaluation and revision of CTE programs through the use of industry trends, workplace knowledge, and other resources. CTE Advisory Committees operate in accordance with the state and federal laws related to Carl D. Perkins and provided local guidance by LHISD CTE Administration.
