Worker's Compensation

Worker’s Compensation (WC)

At Liberty Hill ISD, the well-being of our staff is a top priority. You may be eligible for Workers' Compensation if you sustain an injury while performing your duties. It's important to promptly report any on-the-job injuries to your direct supervisor.

Workers' Compensation is not job protection. To secure job protection, employees must apply for FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) through benefits@libertyhill.txed.net.

Workers' Compensation can help cover medical expenses and may provide temporary income benefits. Additionally, employees have the option to utilize their available paid leave for medical appointments or for recuperation from a work-related injury.

For any inquiries or further assistance, feel free to reach out to the Human Resources Department at 512-260-5580.
